Covid-19 Update

Dear Carrie Elizabeth community,

At Carrie Elizabeth I consider my team (both direct and wider) and our community as my family, and so in these scary and unprecedented times it is hugely important to me to ensure that we are doing everything we can to safeguard and protect both those we love and our country. In response to the current situation with COVID 19 we have taken the below measures to ensure the safety of everyone involved with Carrie Elizabeth:

Our CE Team:
As many of you are already aware, we do not have a Carrie Elizabeth HQ and already work remotely from our homes therefore will continue to do so. Although we are all still working, we will also now be juggling the new pressures of this “lockdown” situation including home-schooling our children and supporting those more vulnerable than ourselves.  As always, my team have my full support at this time.

During this period, as someone who lives by myself, I will definitely be relying on my wider community on Instagram to keep me going!

Our Online Store:
Our Online Store will continue to be open for business. It is extremely important to us, especially in these difficult times, to still be able to bring a little bit of joy and sparkle to people’s lives. However, to ensure we are complying with governments guidelines we have had to make some adjustments to our delivery service & returns policy during this period.

Our Delivery Service:
The Royal Mail has issued the below statement:

“Royal Mail remains open for business. The postal service is a key part of the UK’s infrastructure. The delivery of parcels and letters is a way of keeping the country together, businesses operating, and helping many people who may not have the option to leave their homes. We continue to work hard to collect, process and deliver as much mail and parcels as possible in difficult circumstances. 

We will continue providing the best delivery service for you and protect the health of our people, and our customers. We have provided guidance to our people to help prevent the spread of any infection. We are doing so in line with preventative guidance from Public Health Authority. We have also made a series of adjustments to our parcel handling procedures. We are keeping our ways of working under continuous review”

At Carrie Elizabeth, protecting our warehouse staff is paramount and so we have taken the following measures :
  • Only two members of staff in the warehouse at one time, who live in the same household.
  • Please now expect slightly longer delivery times of between 2 – 5 working days
  • Only standard delivery service now available (there will be no courier service)
  • Unfortunately we will not be able to ship to Australia and Canada during this period 
  • Return period is now extended from 14 days to 60 days
  • During this time of uncertainty, we kindly ask you to email us before returning any items at hello@carrieelizabeth.co.uk for further instructions 
  • All other terms still apply 
 
We are working closely with our delivery partners to ensure that all safety precautions are being met and that the safety of both our team and customers is of the highest priority. 

We will continue to monitor the situation and will react accordingly. I will ensure to keep you updated of any new developments.

In the meantime, thank you for your ongoing support and love, we know that by working together we will get through these difficult times and come out to a brighter world on the other side.
