A Love Letter to Carrie Elizabeth

As our 10-year anniversary approaches, I’ve found myself in a deeply reflective place — thinking about everything these past ten years have held, both personally and professionally.

Carrie Elizabeth began at a time of huge change in my life. I was 30 years old, standing on the edge of heartbreak — both from the end of a relationship and from leaving a job and people I loved. I was stepping away from all the stability I’d ever known, and into something uncertain, vulnerable, and new.

What I didn’t know then was that through building this business, I would also rebuild myself. Over the years, I’ve poured my emotions, energy, and hope into Carrie Elizabeth — and in return, it has become my grounding force, my purpose, and my creative home.

I began this journey as an excited yet vulnerable girl, and I’ve grown into a steadier, more grounded woman — with this business teaching me and supporting me through it all.

There’s a quote I’ve always loved: “That moment between who you once were and who you are becoming is where the dance of life really begins.” In many ways, that’s exactly what starting Carrie Elizabeth was for me — the beginning of becoming who I was truly meant to be.

This journey has allowed me to create, to dream, to strategise, to connect — to travel the world, to design jewellery that holds meaning, and to play a small part in so many of your stories.

Engagements, weddings, birthdays, heartbreaks, new beginnings, “just because” moments — we’ve been there with you, as you were with me.

Carrie Elizabeth is more than a business to me. It’s a part of my identity — woven into who I am. I can’t imagine myself without it, or without you — our incredible community — whose love, support, and trust have made every one of these ten years possible.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being part of this journey — for allowing us to hold space in your most meaningful moments, and for growing alongside us.
