Your perfect fit: ring sizing guide
Finding your perfect ring size is all about comfort.
Your ring should feel secure enough that it won’t slip off, but loose enough that you're not battling to get it over your knuckle or feel constricted when your hand is hot.
The holy grail fit is a ring that can be put on and removed without too much effort, but also shouldn’t spin constantly or feel like it might fall away.
Rings can feel like one of the hardest pieces of jewellery to get the fit right on, so read on for our insider tips for confident sizig...

What size ring should I buy?
Here are few things to keep in mind when deciding what ring size to buy:
Your fingers can change size throughout the day. Heat, cold, travel and even hormones can all cause swelling. Measure your finger when you’re at a comfortable temperature and avoid measuring when your hands are very cold or very warm.
Your left and right hands are often slightly different sizes, so always measure the exact finger you’re buying for.
Wider bands tend to feel tighter than fine bands. If you’re choosing a chunkier style, you may prefer a little extra room for comfort.
If you are in between sizes then we always suggest sizing up.
When trying on rings, follow what feels right for you. Some people love a snug, barely-there feel, others prefer a little movement. It’s about what feels comfortable and secure to you.

How to measure your ring size?
You can order one of our free ring sizers to easily identify your UK ring size. Simply cross check the UK ring size against our Ring Sizing Table, and find your perfect CE match!
If you have an existing ring that fits well, you can also measure against our Printable Ring Size Guide.
If not, you can use this simple string method to determine your size:
• Wrap a piece of string around your finger. Wrapping the string around your knuckle is the best position as this is the widest part of your finger.
• Using a pen, mark the string where the two ends meet.
• With a ruler measure the length of string from the end to the pen mark.
• With this measurement, refer to the ‘Finger Circumference’ column of our Ring Sizing Table (below) to determine your ring size.
If you are still in doubt, we recommend visiting a jeweller to have your ring size measured.
Top Tips:
1) If you are in between sizes then we always suggest sizing up.
2) Measure your finger when you are at a comfortable temperature, if you are too hot or too cold this can affect the size of your finger and give you an inaccurate measurement.
3) We can have our rings made to order in 9k or 14k Solid Gold to your exact ring size, even half sizes. For more information please contact our customer service team on hello@carrieelizabeth.co.uk.
