One of the most famous examples is the qu’hier que demain pendant, comes from a famous line by the poet Rosemonde Gérard (1866-1953) in a letter to her husband in which she wrote: Car, vois-tu, chaque jour je t’aime davantage, Aujourd’hui plus qu’hier et bien moins que demain.
