June Icon: the magical Mystic Topaz Ring

I’m having so much fun revisiting some of my favourite and most meaningful designs for our ten-year anniversary. This month, I’m bringing back a truly magical piece from the archives: our stunning Mystic Topaz Ring.

When we launched this ring in 2020, you couldn’t get enough – it became the fastest-selling style we’ve ever released! Five years on, it's still just as mesmerising. Mystic topaz is a seriously bewitching gemstone, each facet alive with shifting rainbow colour.

The hero of this ring is the stone, so I've designed a sleek and simple setting with a polished band, its double claw just enough detail to elevate the design. All to let the mystic topaz shine (or, more accurately, glow)...

What makes mystic topaz so special?

Mystic topaz symbolises transformation and change, having undergone a beautiful metamorphosis of its own.

The gemstone begins life as natural white topaz, to which a whisper-thin layer of titanium is fused using a process called CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition). This pairing creates that kaleidoscopic iridescence, quite unlike any other gemstone.

Mystic topaz helps manifest dreams and harness positive energy, bringing colour and light to your mind when it is dark or clouded. When we launched this ring back in March 2020, that was something many of us were craving. Today, it still feels important to remember that even in times of uncertainty, life is full of magic and possibility.

Why I (still) love the Mystic Topaz Ring...

Because the stone is just so striking, the Mystic Topaz Ring is all you need to lift an outfit, whether it’s a plain white tee or a LBD. But for maximalists, it’s also a gorgeous layering piece alongside plain or gem-set rings.
