Chloe & Chris
After 10 years together, Chloe and Chris were married in a wintery Scottish ceremony in February 2020!
Chris proposed in Kew Gardens back in 2017 with our Hexagon Moonstone Ring. He was looking for something 'unique but stylish' when he stumbled upon it on CE Instagram and knew instantly it was the one.
"I remember being amazed that he managed to choose such a perfect ring! After we got engaged, I started buying more Carrie Elizabeth pieces because I'd never seen affordable fine jewellery, that was so unique in design," says Chloe. "My most recent purchase is the Initial Locket Necklace, engraved with the letter 'P', for my two month old baby, Poppy."
"The thing I love the most about both of my rings is how unique they are. The shape and design of my engagement ring is the perfect balance of unusual and elegant. I especially love the moonstone, it's such an eye-catching stone but the cut of the stone makes it even more stunning. My Carrie Elizabeth wedding band is delicate and has a slight hugging shape, I think they look stunning together and I always receive compliments on them.”
Chloe & Chris' wedding was an intimate affair, with closest friends and family travelling from Hertfordshire to share their special day, and battling storm Dennis on the way!
Chloe adds, “My friend handmade our wedding ring box using my calligraphy in the design, it was the most beautiful gift”.
Sophie & Joe
Sophie & Joe were married in June this year, in an intimate ceremony at their local church. Pimms, BBQ and dancing followed at a nearby nature reserve!
“The day was simply about Joe and I, and the fact we were getting married, which was the most important thing to us," says Sophie. "Being with our closest family & friends, we appreciated the day completely. Though it was different, it couldn’t have been more perfect.”
Sophie wore an incredible pre-loved dress from Chilham Bridal in Kent. (We love the slow fashion element!) "It was lace top to toe, quite understated, and fitted perfectly. It made me feel like a princess!”
“I had my something old, something borrowed & something blue, but I didn’t have something new and I wanted special jewellery to compliment my dress."
"I was looking for earrings that were pretty and different to something I’d usually wear, that would stand out against my dress and be special enough that I would wear them again.”
A friend introduced Sophie to Carrie Elizabeth, and after looking on our website she found our Marquise Moonstone Statement Earrings.
“Wow! They couldn’t have been a more perfect fit. I can’t wait to wear them again for our postponed reception next year. I will treasure them forever!"
Sophie's advice for brides to be: “Wear what you want to wear, wear what reflects you, wear what makes you feel happy. You don’t have to conform to social norms or traditions. It is also lovely to have a piece of jewellery you can treasure forever.”
Sarah & Sean
Our gorgeous bride Sarah married Sean in a beautiful, relaxed and happy ceremony in July - with plenty of good food and laughs to follow!
Wearing an incredibly simple Ronald Joyce dress & veil, she wanted her jewellery to be 'stand out special' and opted for our Marquise Labradorite Statement Earrings.
“I loved the different colours of blue in the labradorite stone. My earrings were my something blue and I love that I’ll wear them again and again!"
Wearing Carrie Elizabeth jewellery on her wedding day "Felt right, because Sean had bought all my other CE pieces," says Sarah. “He gets me new Carrie Elizabeth jewellery each Christmas!”
Sarah's advice for brides to be: “A classic look never goes out of style....and wear comfortable shoes!”
Monica & James
Monica & James were married last month, in a wedding full of family, friends & lots of foliage! Monica looked gorgeous in the Karen Willis Holmes ‘Anya’ dress with a diamond train and a pair of vintage Jimmy Choos (We are obsessed!)
“My engagement ring is the Hexagon Moonstone and Diamond Ring and I’ve bought the Diamond Hugging Ring to compliment it," said Monica, ahead of their big day.
"They look so stunning together, I can’t wait to be able to wear them as a pair!" We hope you are enjoying seeing them together now Monica!
"I have followed Carrie Elizabeth for years, having originally found the brand through Instagram."
Monica's advice for brides to be: “Don’t let tradition dictate what you can and can’t wear - if you love it, and it’s your personal style, wear it!”
